Acctually, I was kind of reluctant to include Merina here because we don't get any animated evidence that Rex and her are together (and these JLB comics are HERESY-HERESY-HERESY) and it seems like she is just a good person who is kind and friendly to everyone. But the original character pose was very feminine and I wasn't going to force male in there and it was already sealed that Big Barda will be with Mr Miracle because they are adorable together. So yeah, Merina ended up where she is now by exclusion.
I myself prefer Bruce-Terry-Clark trio, especially Terry's playful pose.
And I'm still butthurt about how Shayera's anatomy turned out T____T
Hm that's a very good point Most people seem to consider JLB to inhabit some other universe or something Big Barda and Mr Miracle are adorable together, I loved them in that JLU episode where he had been captured by Granny Goodness.
The bottom trio is great (how could it not be? ) and I agree, Terry's playful pose gives a nice contrast between the different Batmen, but its almost affectionate as well the way he is reaching down to Bruce with his arms wide
To be honest, I think her pose is really well executed, I mean, that isn't an easy pose to pull off and you've got some foreshortening in the as well. I think it looks great so don't be too hard on yourself with it
I flicked through most of them and they were eerrm... not the best. I have the impression that creators worked on them it not because they are big fans of Timmverse but because they need to feed their families.
Batman Beyond got much better after they kicked out Becheen, though, everybody looks and behaves like themselves. It's only two half-issues that came out by now but I'm already loving it. However Terry and Bruce don't speek again and I hope there's a decent reason for this now (like, Bruce finding out what Waller did, freaking out and trying to fire Terry all over again but this is only my guess).
Still, I was right about my otherassumption and Terry finally gets his share of physical training from hell from Dick Grayson.
I read a few issues and I didn't mind them too much, but I agree with you, it seemed for the most part that they either weren't that familiar with the Timmverse or they weren't much fussed. I don't know but a few things were pretty messed up.
Sounds pretty interesting, I've not read any of those issues but I might have to look into them. I think Nightwing is one of my favourite Batfamily characters
I love that you started with Bruce Wayne and ended with Bruce Wayne. I also like the different backgrounds for each of the characters. By far, one of the best Durarara ending parodies I have seen, great job.
